Having spent time exploring the woods of Hainault Forest for their engagement shoot, it was great to catch up with Liz and Luke on the day of their wedding. The Sun was a welcome addition to a late October wedding and I was again looking forward to photographing at Orsett Hall Hotel in Essex.
Jess and Rich had chosen the Orsett Hall Hotel in the Essex countryside as the venue for the big day. For their engagement shoot we wandered the streets of Bishopsgate.
Just a little over a year ago, I met with Hannah & Dave to discuss the plans for their Islington Town Hall Wedding. They decided to meet for lunch at Shillibeer’s Bar & Grill in Holloway which was to be the place for the reception. The bar is housed in what was once the wood store of a Victorian bus factory.
Had lots of fun with Hannah & Dave exploring Clerkenwell and Barbican for their engagement shoot. Looking forward to shooting the wedding next week.
In the heart of Epping Forest stands The Kings Oak Hotel where the wedding of Katie & Danny took place on a rainy Saturday afternoon in February.
On a very cold Saturday in November two very close friends tied the knot at The Old Parish Rooms, a beautifully converted Parish hall situated in Rayleigh in Essex.
With Joe and Niki’s Maiya the decision was made to have the ceremony under one roof in Ilford with Niki going first and Joe soon after. Always a playful and cheeky affair it was a great way for both the families to meet each other.
The Packfords period hotel in Woodford Green was a gorgeous setting for the wedding of Will & Leigh. With guest rooms upstairs, the ceremony in the stylish Hardy Room and the reception in the Victorian style conservatory it was a great place to have the wedding.
I spent a sunny afternoon in Hainault Forest with Leigh, Will and Olivia for their engagement shoot. Having first met Leigh and Will last August, when I popped round to photograph Olivia for their wedding invitations, it was nice to catch up with the family.

It was a fun day with the ceremony at Colchester town hall followed by the reception at East Anglian Railway museum. I still squeezed in a few shots in-between all the partying.
One of the few times that its good to not be on the other side of the camera is at the Maiya of a Punjabi wedding. Lets just say it can get a little messy….
So it all started when I went to a wedding in Mělník…..
In the summer of 2013 I was invited to a friends wedding at Zámek Mělník Czech Republic, a Renaissance chateau. It was a truly epic location for a wedding, situated on a hilltop overlooking the rivers Labe (Elbe) and Vltava.
